Apple, at its ‘One More Thing’ event, announced a major development for its computer division. You will no longer see Mac devices like MacBook, Mac Mini and iMac come with Intel processors. Apple is finally shifting to make Macs with its own processor and within two years all Mac devices will run Apple-made chips only. Apple has introduced the first chip for Macs and named it M1.
The new M1 chip made by Apple will power its Mac range of computers. It features an eight-core CPU. Apple claims it is the fastest CPU in the world and offer better battery life. Compared to other processors, Apple said that the M1 chip draws 1/4th of power to deliver peak performance.
